We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Construction / Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of Highway Improvement Schemes, across the Staffordshire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester region.
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Car/Allowance & Benefits.
Ideally, we’re looking for a proven Project, Construction, or Schemes Manager with a background in delivering a sizeable portfolio of carriageway improvements, traffic calming schemes, footpath reconstruction and public realm schemes.
The majority of the work is carried out by sub-contractors; therefore, the incumbent must be able to develop good supply chain relationships and be comfortable managing a small team of Supervisors & Inspectors.
A good level of commercial / budget setting, and contractual management skills are essential.
This role would also suit a Schemes Manager, Site Agent or Site Manager who is looking to step up into a Senior Leadership role.
