Job Opportunity: Insolvency Case Manager
We are seeking an experienced Insolvency professional to support our Insolvency Practitioner in the day-to-day management of cases. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, with a primary focus on corporate insolvency and some involvement in personal insolvency matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, bankruptcies, and IVAs
- Provide clear, supportive pre- and post-appointment advice to distressed companies and individuals
- Oversee case progression from initial appointment through to closure, ensuring all statutory deadlines and compliance requirements are met
- Prepare reports, statutory documentation, and correspondence with creditors and stakeholders
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, creditors, and other stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge and encouraging development

Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate insolvency (CVLs and MVLs)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in personal insolvency (bankruptcies and IVAs)
- Strong technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and best practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high standards
- Experience in mentoring junior staff
- Confident handling of cases from appointment to closure
Desirable
- Familiarity with IPS case management software
- CPI, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
