Job Opportunity: Insolvency Case Manager

We are seeking an experienced Insolvency professional to support our Insolvency Practitioner in the day-to-day management of cases. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, with a primary focus on corporate insolvency and some involvement in personal insolvency matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, bankruptcies, and IVAs
  • Provide clear, supportive pre- and post-appointment advice to distressed companies and individuals
  • Oversee case progression from initial appointment through to closure, ensuring all statutory deadlines and compliance requirements are met
  • Prepare reports, statutory documentation, and correspondence with creditors and stakeholders
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, creditors, and other stakeholders
  • Support and mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge and encouraging development

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate insolvency (CVLs and MVLs)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in personal insolvency (bankruptcies and IVAs)
  • Strong technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and best practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high standards
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff
  • Confident handling of cases from appointment to closure

Desirable

  • Familiarity with IPS case management software
  • CPI, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
