About the Role

To provide a range of efficient, effective and confidential executive support services (analytical, administrative and technical) to assist the Co-CIO’s to carry out their role within the Group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Co-CIO’s to ensure deadlines are met by assessing and establishing priority tasks, allocating appropriate time for action and providing briefings/summary information in advance
  • Diary management – managing conflicting demands, recognising the importance and relevance of meetings and the ability to prioritise.
  • Drafting reports and presentation for internal and external audiences, collating contributions from direct reports and other submitters.
  • Carry out research into specific areas, for example helping with due diligence into new initiatives
  • Provide a range of administrative support services including creating and maintenance of management information, spreadsheets, databases and project updates and SharePoint pages.
  • Arranging travel schedules including all material for trips
  • Proactive and effective email management
  • Client liaison where appropriate
  • Collating daily diary packs with necessary papers, travel information, tickets etc
  • Dissemination of information to relevant parts of the business
  • Providing general administrative support and cover to all PAs during holiday and other absences and general support to the team as required

Qualifications

Experience working in a similar role in Financial Services, the Investment or Wealth Management industry

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Able to build relationships, navigate politics and manage/influence stakeholders
  • Able to use initiative, set own objectives and targets and commit to the delivery of these
  • Must be discreet and comfortable dealing with confidential information
  • Broad knowledge of Executive’s business area and Rathbones overall (once in role)
  • Broad understanding of corporate governance
  • Awareness of the Financial Services/Wealth Management industry including regulatory aspects

Pay range and compensation package

£42000,- £44,000 per annum
